There's been some progress…
It's been a minute, but Maynard's popped his head out the studio door to give us all an update on the forthcoming (eventually) Tool album. He tweeted this yesterday, which was good of him:
The album, a follow-up to 2006's 10,000 Days, is slated for a 2019 release. The band began tracking it in March with producer Joe Barresi, whose credits include Suicide Silence and Queens Of The Stone Age.
