Masters Of The Riff, the London-based festival of all things slow, low and heavy, have announced the first bands for its 2026 edition.

Once again taking place at Hackney's Oslo venue, and with extra parties planned at nearby Helgi’s, next year's bash will run from February 27 – March 1. Announced in the first wave of bands are Domkraft, Witchsorrow, Grin, Calligram, The Grey, Longheads, The Lunar Effect, Bear Bones and K L P S.

The fest is run by independent promoters London Doom Collective, dedicated to putting on heavy, underground shows in the capital all year round. Now in its fifth year, they promise the 2026 edition will be something even more special than usual.

“We’re really proud of every iteration of this festival that we’ve put on," they tell K!. "Every year it’s great to see new and familiar faces having a blast across the whole weekend, both at the venue and the after party at Helgi’s, and we are working to make the fifth year an extra special one for the amazing scene we are all part of.”

More announcements are promised soon. Meanwhile, cheap early bird tickets are available now.
