Another new song, Kill4Me, is set for release before the album drops, on September 20. Heaven Upside Down is the performer’s tenth studio LP, and arrives 19 years after his best one, Mechanical Animals. Right? IDK if he’s ever been such a superbly subversive mainstream presence as he was in The Dope Show days. But that’s ancient history, now.
Manson has previously said, to Rolling Stone, that his new album is "not very much in any way like The Pale Emperor. The people who have heard the new songs said it reminded them of their favourite parts of Antichrist Superstar and Mechanical Animals – but with a new, different approach. It's pretty violent in its nature for some reason."
Definitely feeling that violent side, with this new track. Listen to 2015’s The Pale Emperor, for future comparison, below.
