Marilyn Manson Talks Chicken And Carving Pentagrams In Chests With The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus

"I'm headed to meet my friend Marilyn Manson..." Not a lot of people could say that confidently, but The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus certainly has the clout to do so. On his most recent episode of Ride With Norman Reedus, the show on which Norman rides his bike around the world soaking up good food and outlaw culture, he and Manson have a chat over hot chicken about life, their upbringing, and why Manson wasn't always welcome in Nashville, Tennessee.

The two superstars in black stop at Pepperfire Hot Chicken to grab some Nashville hot chicken, a local specialty in which chicken is dredged and marinated in hot pepper and spices before its friend. Norman, an avowed "wuss," goes light, while Manson gets his medium.

But the real interesting part comes when Norman asks if Manson has been to Nasvhille before.

"Yeah, but I was scorned from Nashville for a while," says the God Of Fuck thoughtfully. "I was on tour with Danzig, and I carved a pentagram in the chest of Danzig's bus driver on stage with a broken beer bottle...he wanted me to do it! It wasn't a violent act. But I got kicked out of the club, and arrested."
