According to his Instagram, goth metal firebrand Marilyn Manson is on his way into the studio to finish up a new album.
For some, turning 50 marks the point in life where it's time to take things easy, settle down, and retire in calm luxury. But Marilyn Manson turned 50 this year, and just yesterday he announced that he's heading into the studio to finish his 11th studio album.
In a post on his Instagram featuring him in a Mr. Meseeks hat (on which he even tagged Rick & Morty creator Justin Roiland), Manson wrote, "On my way to @shooterjennings to finish my new album. [Photo by Lindsey Usich]."
Whether or not Manson's new album will come out before his upcoming summer tour with Rob Zombie, and whether or not his Rick & Morty fandom will mark a new look for the ever-shapeshifting rock icon, remains to be seen.
