Måneskin frontman Damiano David goes off piste with tune-laden pop album that fans will either love a lot or entirely hate.
Having shared a trio of solo singles, Måneskin’s Damiano David will be releasing his 14-track debut Funny Little Fears in May…
Måneskin frontman Damiano David has announced his debut album, Funny Little Fears.
After launching his solo venture last autumn with first single Silverlines, and then having followed it up with Born With A Broken Heart and the recent Next Summer, Damiano’s forthcoming 14-track full-length will drop on May 16 via Sony Music Italy / Arista.
A press release teases that the record will ‘break the moulds of expectation, both sonically and lyrically’ and ‘defy genre boundaries’, with Damiano set to ‘bravely journey deep within the confines of his own mind as he confronts his fears’.
That’s something he touched on in a 2024 interview with
Billboard, explaining of the absolute need to express himself in a solo capacity: “Literally
my brain and my body rebelled to me and forced me to actually kind of cut me
open, cut myself open and show myself to the world.”
