Way back in December, rapper Machine Gun Kelly announced that he'd be releasing a rock album in 2020. He then seemed to follow through on this by performing blink-182's What's My Age Again? with blink's own Travis Barker, and soon after releasing a "pop-punk" track, Why Are You Here, right before Christmas. Now, Kelly has revealed the official title of his new album.

In an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple's Music Beats 1 radio, Kelly (real name Colson Baker) announced that his album will be called Tickets To My Downfall. He then tweeted this short clip of the interview:

And shortly thereafter confirmed it with this tweet:

The title is definitely in keeping with the born-to-lose can't-stop-if-I-wanted-to attitude of Mötley Crüe, in whose recent reunion Machine Gun Kelly played a vital role. Kelly portrayed drummer Tommy Lee in the Netflix biopic The Dirt, and then later added guest vocals to the band's original new song for the soundtrack. He also narrated the YouTube video officially announcing their return to the stage.
