As we welcome PRESIDENT to the cover of Kerrang! this week, the mysterious group have curated a 12-song playlist of classic mid-20th century tracks, which they say highlights a time when music was a force a change.
"Citizens – the campaign trail is paved with echoes," reads their communiqué. "These songs were forged in a time of upheaval, when guitars were weapons and voices carried further than headlines. The era may have shifted, but the urgency remains. Every track here is a reminder of what was built in the shadows of that age – fury, defiance, and the will to endure.
"This is not nostalgia. It is evidence."
