Watch the teaser trailer for Placebo’s upcoming live release, which features performances from Mexico, Spain and London on their Never Let Me Go cycle.
Placebo have unveiled a brand-new single, Try Better Next Time, from their upcoming eighth album Never Let Me Go.
Placebo have followed up 2021 singles Beautiful James and Surrounded By Spies with a powerful new single, Try Better Next Time.
Taken from upcoming eighth album Never Let Me Go (due out on March 25 via SO Recordings), the song marks something of a change in subject matter on the record, acting as a look into the future with its rousing 'Wake up / Wake up / Try better next time' chorus.
"It is not the end of the world, only the end of humanity, a distinction that in our overblown hubris we are unable to detect," explains Brian Molko. "Mother Nature has grown extremely weary of us. Try Better Next Time."
