Aussie nu metal newcomers Headwreck have released a swaggering new single, Raindrops.

The new song is the Brisbane quartet's first release since their October mixtape Attitude Adjustment and arrives ahead of a stacked summer for the band, with UK headline shows, their Download Festival debut and support slots with We Came As Romans and Thrown all in the calendar. On top of all that, they're currently touring the UK and Europe with Paledusk.

“The lyrics explore the feeling of not being able to be rid of someone who negatively impacts your life, but are still delivered in a fun way, true to the Attitude Adjustment style,” the band says.

Headwreck have also announced their signing to independent label EMPIRE, the first nu metal act to join the roster. They've got some rather famous labelmates largely from the rap world, including Kendrick Lamar, Anderson .Paak and Shaboozey.

“From the first time meeting, it was clear they genuinely understand our vision, who we are and where we want to go," says the band. "They’ve built something special by empowering artists to stay true to themselves, and that’s exactly the kind of team we want behind us. We’re very excited for this next chapter. We can guarantee it won’t be boring ;)”
