As promised earlier this week, Linkin Park have just unveiled
previously unheard song Lost.
Taken from their Meteora era and therefore featuring vocals from
the late Chester Bennington, the powerful song, says Mike Shinoda, was for him
like “finding a favourite photo you had forgotten you’d taken, like it was
waiting for the right moment to reveal itself.”
“For years, fans have been asking us to release something with Chester’s voice, and I’m thrilled we’ve been able to make that happen in such a special way,” he adds.
The song is taken from the band’s just-announced Meteora 20th anniversary box set, which is being reissued on April 7 with an epic ‘super
deluxe’ edition featuring live material, rarities, unheard demos and much
more. Mike promises that fans will be “floored when they
hear and see all the incredible unreleased songs and video footage” to come.
Can’t wait.
