Singer-songwriter Liam Cromby – formerly of UK post-hardcore faves We Are The Ocean – has unveiled a beautiful, powerful new solo single, Whole Damn Life.
Sixteen years on from WATO’s nomination for Best British Newcomer at the Kerrang! Awards, and eight years after the band’s 2017 split, Liam is gearing up to release his second album – the follow-up to 2023 debut What Can I Trust, If I Can’t Trust True Love.
It’s also set to go by the title Whole Damn Life, with Liam
explaining of both the single and the reason for naming the record after it:
“It was one of the final songs written for my second album, and it became the
heartbeat of the whole record. Autobiographical at its core, it’s one of the
rawest and most honest songs I’ve ever written.
“It
carries a message of learning to be kinder to ourselves and embracing healing.
It felt only right for it to become the album’s title-track.”
