SOFT PLAY, Lambrini Girls and more to play IDLES’ Block Party shows in Bristol
IDLES have revealed the special guests for their homecoming shows in Bristol – the band’s only UK headline dates of 2025.
Hear Lambrini Girls’ new single Body Of Mine, which is about “trying to connect to your gender identity, feeling like you’re not fully yourself, and struggling to figure out how to truly become it”.
Lambrini Girls have just shared a brand-new single, Body Of Mine.
Following February banger God’s Country, which was a “long overdue call-out of the government and rise of the far right”, this latest effort from the duo is, they say, a much more “personal” one.
“While many of our songs, are critiques of societal issues, Body of Mine is a little more personal,” reads a statement from Lambrini Girls. “This song is about trying to connect to your gender identity, feeling like you’re not fully yourself, and struggling to figure out how to truly become it.
“Gender is a complex experience, we acknowledge that this song represents just one perspective among many, of not knowing where you fit inside it all. It’s tough to feel that nobody really gets you and it’s also truly quite shit when you don’t really know how to understand yourself either.”
