Live review: Knocked Loose, London O2 Academy Brixton
Knocked Loose incite their biggest ever display of violence in the UK – and it feels like they’re writing future history…
For the last night on their European headline run, Knocked Loose invited Basement, Harm’s Way and Pest Control onstage to perform Sit & Mourn – and the footage is unsurprisingly brilliant.
Knocked Loose wrapped up their incredible UK and European tour on Saturday night with the help of all three support bands: Basement, Harm’s Way and Pest Control.
The hardcore kings’ final show of this current tour at TonHalle München on March 29 came to an end courtesy of a run-through of You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To’s Sit & Mourn, with Bryan Garris and co. inviting their 2025 tourmates up to all play along and headbang in perfect synchronicity to the song’s final riff – and yes, it looked and sounded as ridiculously fun and heavy as you’d hope.
Watch plenty of fan-shot footage below:
In our review of Knocked Loose at London’s O2 Academy Brixton a couple of weeks ago, we said that, “Tonight was always going to be a lesson in violence, but it’s also so much more than that. This hallowed hall has witnessed something special, even classifiable as a landmark moment for this band, for hardcore, the underground, and for heavy music.”
