Reunited Welsh wonder-boyos up the sophistication on undeniable fifth album…
Listen to Kids In Glass Houses’ new summer banger Theme From Pink Flamingo, taken from their long-awaited fifth album…
Properly back now after their big 2023 live reunion at Slam Dunk Festival, Kids In Glass Houses have just announced details of their long-awaited fifth album.
The Welsh pop-rock faves are set to unveil new record Pink Flamingo – the follow-up to 2013’s Peace – on October 25, with an intimate UK headline tour to follow in November (see those dates below).
“A lot has happened personally and in society since we went on hiatus, and I wanted this record to reflect that,” says frontman Aled Phillips of the band’s impending LP. “It had to feel like 10 years had passed, but it still needed the DNA of Kids In Glass Houses.”
You can get a sense of that with lead single – and album opener – Theme From Pink Flamingo below, which Aled explains is about “everything that has happened since that last album. It’s about how younger generations are constantly failed by those in charge because of self-interest and greed.”
