Judas Priest’s 2025 Shield Of Pain tour is getting even more massive, with a new date in Scarborough and an absolutely whopping show at The O2 in London.
Judas Priest have released a statement after the upcoming tour with Ozzy Osbourne has been postponed for a second time
Yesterday (October 9), Ozzy Osbourne made the sad announcement that he would have to postpone his UK/European leg of his tour for a second time. The Prince Of Darkness had rescheduled his Euro run of No More Tours II for January/February 2020, but they are being moved again as Ozzy still hasn't fully recovered from his health issues earlier this year that left him hospitalised.
Now, Judas Priest, who were slated to support Ozzy on the UK and European tour, have posted a statement on their official website.
"We are very grateful for the rock solid support from our wonderful UK & European fans as Ozzy gets well and strong," reads the post. "The UK/European tour will showcase the very best British Metal from the ones that started it all and we proudly look forward to celebrating our 50 Heavy Metal Years together with you!"
Kerrang! contacted Judas Priest's representatives who confirmed that they would not undertake the tour without Ozzy.

Earlier this year, while recovering from a bout of pneumonia, Ozzy frontman fell at his Los Angeles home, aggravating previous injuries from a 2003 ATV accident that required surgery.
In a video posted yesterday, Ozzy jokes that "I’ve got more nuts and bolts in my neck now than my car."
“I’m not dying, I am recovering, it’s just taking a little bit longer than everyone thought it would," he continues.
“I’m bored stiff of being stuck on a fucking bed all day. I can’t wait to get off my ass and get going again. But you’re going to have to be a bit more patient.”
Despite the European run being postponed until a later date, the North American tour is still in place.
Ozzy’s remaining North American dates are as follows in 2020.
