After wrapping up his 2024 supporting Derby’s finest The Struts, James Bruner is taking that rock’n’roll energy into the new year with his latest single Eye In The Sky.

Released on Valentine’s Day – and with an interesting meaning, depending on your take on the occasion – James says that, “I’ve always loved the idea of making songs and lyrics as visual as possible. Personifying that ‘eye in the sky’ as a dark villain-esque character who gets a thrill out of creating trouble with no regard for anyone else, to me expresses how insidious this stuff can be!”

The track was recorded at Nashville’s Curb Studios and features Zach Mears on guitar, and is a glimpse at what’s to come from James in 2025 as he eyes up an EP release in the spring.

In the meantime, watch the video for Eye In The Sky below.
