Incubus announce only UK/Ireland show of 2025, playing Morning View in full
“See you in London soon!” Incubus will be headlining The O2 next April to celebrate their 2001 fourth record Morning View and more…
Incubus pay homage to The Lost Boys in the video for the first single from their upcoming new album.
Earlier this year, Californian hard rockers Incubus revealed that they're working on a new album -- their first since 2017's 8. Now, the band have released the first single from that album in the form of a new music video, which pays modern tribute to the 1987 teen vampire classic The Lost Boys.
The song, called Into The Summer, is a little more upbeat and surfy than some fans might expect from Incubus, but it's got a great chorus, and the guitar work has a spacey Ratatat-ish vibe. The video, meanwhile, is just straight-up Lost Boys -- a kid in a beach town befriends a bunch of misfits, drinks their blood, and finds himself becoming a vampire. The best part, of course, is Incubus playing a beach show by a burning trash can, obviously showing that Brandon Boyd wishes he was the sexy, oiled sax man from the film.
Check out Into The Summer below:
Did it not dawn on anyone else until now that this band are named after a type of vampire?
