Hevenshe return with "nostalgic indie-rock track", Wish I Had A Friend

Hevenshe, the solo project from Tonight Alive singer Jenna McDougall, has released a new single, the powerful, nostalgic Wish I Had A Friend. Drenched in '90s nostalgia, Jenna says it deals with “the illusion of loneliness."

“It’s inspired by the distorted reality we experience when we’re depressed and a modern society that encourages such isolation," she explains. “Wish I Had A Friend is a reminder that our yearning for connection is in fact a wise and necessary survival instinct to ensure we don’t try to brave this life alone. It’s my hope that the song will lend strength to those struggling to reach out for support.”
