Album Review: Hellyeah - Welcome Home
Hellyeah honour the memory of Vinnie Paul on Welcome Home…
Hellyeah will release their new album in September after a U.S. tour.
Only a few days after performing in Las Vegas at a massive celebration to Vinnie Paul's life, American groove metallers Hellyeah have announced that they'll be releasing a new album this fall -- and that it will feature Vinnie's last recordings. On top of that, they've also announced a U.S. tour to go down just before the album drops.
The new record is called Welcome Home, and, from the looks of the cover, will feature 333, the band's latest single. In the words of bassist Kyle Sanders, "[Vinnie would] be pissed off at all of us for putting all this work into finishing the record and then just letting it sit there on the shelf while we put a couple of songs to radio and whatever...and we know that.”

On top of that, the band will embark on a U.S. tour this summer, which is being hailed as 'Celebrating The Life Of Vinnie Paul.' “While Vinnie Paul is obviously irreplaceable, one thing we can’t not do is tour," said Kyle. "As easy as it would be to say we’re not going on the road, we have to. Vinnie would be extremely disappointed in us if we didn’t promote this record properly."
