Listen to the new single from Chino Moreno-approved shoegazers Cold Gawd

Southern Californian shoegazers Cold Gawd have announced their second album, I’ll Drown On This Earth.

The Chino Moreno-approved six-piece, who were selected to play Deftones’ annual, curated Dia de Los Deftones in 2022, will be releasing their new record – the follow-up to debut LP God Get Me The Fuck Out Of Here – on August 30 via Dais.

They’ve also shared lead single All My Life, My Heart Has Yearned For A Thing I Cannot Name, with singer and songwriter Matthew Wainwright explaining that, “What I’m trying to say with this song and the whole record was best said by Victoria Legrand when she said to ‘trust in yourself and trust in the people that love because those are the people that matter most’.”
