Head Automatica have announced a short U.S. headline tour.

The returning band – Daryl Palumbo and Dan The Automator, plus original guitarist Craig Bonich, Glassjaw drummer Chad Hasty and collaborator Richard Flesh – will kick things off at Barboza in Seattle on June 1 and wrap up at Denver’s Marquis 10 days later, with another one-off show planned a few months after that at Meadowlands, New Jersey’s Bolero Block Party.

If that’s not enough, a press release revealing the tour also confirms that they’ve been working on new music, and in fact, the follow-up to 2004’s Decadence and 2006’s Popaganda will be released “later this year”. As a teaser, apparently this “more matured version of Head Automatica retains their electronic roots while showcasing a new depth”.
