Watch Hayley Williams’ haunting performance of True Believer on Jimmy Fallon
Hayley Williams – along with an incredible orchestra – performed True Believer on the latest episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Following their collab on David Byrne’s September solo album, the Talking Heads frontman has teamed up with Hayley Williams for the uplifting end-credits song from The Twits.
Hayley Williams and David Byrne have joined forces once again for new collab Open The Door.
Following the Paramore singer’s guest spot on David’s recent solo album Who Is The Sky?, the two have gone back to the studio together for the uplifting end-credits track from Netflix’s upcoming animated film adaptation of Roald Dahl’s The Twits.
“Being a part of this movie is like one pinch-me moment after another,” Hayley tells Tudum. “My favourite Roald Dahl book growing up was The Twits. I owe David Byrne for pulling me into the music for this.”
David – who wrote and produced two other original songs on top of Open The Door – adds that, “I reached out to Hayley Williams to collaborate on the end credits song. We both agreed that it should serve to remind us that there is heart and connection in the story after all the unpleasantness depicted by Mr. and Mrs. Twit.”
Listen to the song below. The Twits hits Netflix on October 17.
