According to a recent tweet from frontman Jamey Jasta, Hatebreed's long-awaited new album has no current release date.
One of the many long-awaited records meant to come out in 2020 was the new studio effort from hardcore champs Hatebreed, who were planning to release the follow up to 2016's The Concrete Confessional. However, like many plans in the wake of coronavirus, the band's latest has been "postponed indefinitely," according to a tweet from frontman Jamey Jasta.
Responding to a fan on Twitter, Jamey wrote, "album is postponed indefinitely. I’m told retail + pressing plants in EU & N. America will be closing or are closed already making manufacturering/pre-orders impossible. Our fans buy a lot of vinyl/CDs so the label needs to protect their investment understandably."

Obviously this is a shame for the band, but it's no surprise. A band like Hatebreed, have to make sure an album lands right, and this is most likely not the time for that to happen.
It's also not Hatebreed's first change of plans due to COVID-19. The band had their upcoming European tour dates with Parkway Drive postponed to later in the year due to the travel restrictions caused by the coronavirus.
“We are doing our best to assess this rapidly changing situation and our team is working tirelessly behind the scenes to find the best possible solution to this," said Parkway Drive in a statement, "so we can bring the biggest Parkway Drive shows in our band’s history to your part of the world!
“In the meantime, we would like to thank all of you for your messages and comments but ask you to please be patient for a few more days until we can give you more concrete information on how the ‘Viva The Underdogs’ European Revolution 2020 tour will continue.
“Be safe and see you soon, Winston, Luke, Jeff, Ben and Jia.”
Those shows have since been rescheduled, so European fans can catch Hatebreed at one of the dates below:
