7 Artists Who Will Punish You For Using Your Phone At Their Shows
Here are seven bands or musicians who would prefer you kept your cell phone in your pocket at their shows.
Danzig will begin shooting the follow-up to his critically-panned Verotika next month.
Earlier this year, Misfits frontman Glenn Danzig released Verotika, his first feature-length film, which was deemed an "instant cult classic" due to attaining a so-bad-it's-good status among fans upon its premiere. But if you think a few bad reviews can end a career, you don't know Danzig -- the singer has now announced that he'll begin shooting his second feature film next month.
In an interview Glenn did with Bionic Buzz at the premiere of Rob Zombie's 3 From Hell, the metal star confirmed that his next movie was already on the way, saying, "It's a vampire spaghetti western. We're in pre-production right now, and we start shooting next month."

That the film is a vampire western was previously announced, along with the Elvis covers album that Danzig has in the works. That it begins shooting next month is a bit more interesting, given how savaged the movie was by critics and fans alike.
Earlier this year, Danzig spoke to Kerrang! about his uprbringing and career, saying, "At the beginning there weren’t any other bands like the Misfits. We were angrier, we were faster, we were louder, we didn’t dress the same, and people were taken aback by us at first, particularly when we were smashing shit up at our shows. To be honest, we didn’t really know that there were other bands like us until we went to check out a band who wanted to play our big Halloween show at [New York venue] Irving Plaza and Bad Brains were opening for us. We were like, ‘Wow!’ It was only then that we realised there were other bands around the country playing hard and fast.”
On the Misfits' reunion shows, Glenn said, "...eventually Jerry [Only, Misfits bassist] and I worked out a bunch of our differences and we decided that if we were going to do a reunion, we were going to do it now rather than later, while we’re still young and vital and can still go crazy and run around a stage.”
