Following their tiny Los Angeles club show and epic re-opening of New York's Madison Square Garden, Foo Fighters have announced another special gig: a headline date at LA's The Forum next month.

The setting of the band's awesome All My Life video, the Foos will return to The Forum for the venue's grand re-opening on July 17, with fans in attendance required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or provide a negative test according to the LA Times (of course, both of the band's dates from earlier this month have been picketed by anti-vaccine protesters, so it'll be interesting to see if the same happens again here…). "Rock'n'roll heads home to LA," they say.

On the same date as the concert, the Foo Fighters will be releasing an album of disco material as the Dee Gees for Record Store Day, Hail Satin. The 10-track LP features covers of four Bee Gees tracks – You Should Be Dancing, Night Fever, Tragedy and More Than A Woman – plus Andy Gibb’s Shadow Dancing. It'll also have five Medicine At Midnight songs reworked: Making A Fire, Shame Shame, Waiting On A War, No Son Of Mine and Cloudspotter.

"Introducing… the Dee Gees!!!" they said. "Hail Satin – coming to a local record store and dance party near you July 17!!”

With The Forum gig and Hail Satin happening on the same day, there's got to be some disco planned for the show… right?
