Live review: Foo Fighters, London O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire
Foo Fighters get loose, feral and sweaty at last-minute intimate Shepherd’s Bush party.
Foo Fighters have dropped a six-track live EP, Are Playing Where??? Vol. 1, capturing their recent surprise shows and with proceeds going to local charities.
The Foo Fighters have released a surprise live EP, Are Playing Where??? Vol. 1, via Bandcamp.
The rock legends captured six tracks from across their recent intimate gigs at San Luis Obispo’s Fremont Theater, Santa Ana’s The Observatory, Washington, D.C.’s Black Cat and Toad’s Place in New Haven last month.
And rather than their really obvious big singles they’ve made some cool choices across the EP’s six songs: the tracklist consists of Alone + Easy Target, Exhausted, Wattershed, Weenie Beenie, White Limo and Winnebago (presumably we’ll get to hear even more, too, given this is Vol. 1).
Moreover, all proceeds from the EP will go to local charities for each city.
