This weekend, Foo Fighters surprise released a live three-track EP from 'the Foo Files'.
Announced on the band's social media pages on Friday July 5, the new record was instantly made available on all major streaming platforms.
"A good day to take a look in the Foo Files," reads the Facebook post. "How about a few elusive Live tracks?"
Dubbed 00950025, the EP features three live tracks from the Foo Fighters archive – two of which are almost 25 years old. There's Wattershed and For All The Cows from the band's debut performance at Reading Festival in 1995, plus Next Year live from a chapel in Melbourne, Australia.
Foo Fighters are returning to Reading Festival this year, headlining the main stage on August 25. They will also headline Leeds Festival on August 23.
If you were lucky enough to see the Foos at Reading in 1995, the band want to hear from you. You can share your story via the official Foo Fighters website.
"Submit your story & join the FF files... you never know what we've got up our sleeves," say the band.
