Filth Is Eternal have announced their fourth album, Impossible World.

The Seattle quartet – vocalist Lis DiAngelo, guitarist Brian McClelland, bassist Logan Miller and drummer Josh Pehrson – will drop the follow-up to 2023’s excellent Find Out on March 17 via MNRK Heavy. Teasing what’s to come, Lis ponders, “I think the biggest changes from LP1 to now is that we’ve upped the intention by using more melody, harmony and singing in general. We’re working with aggression, but moving toward something beautiful and true.”

You can hear this on lead single Stay Melted below. Speaking about the song, Filth Is Eternal say in a joint statement: “The world can feel like a total trash fire to the point where we become lethargic. Lethargy makes us our own worst enemy; sometimes you have to kill a thing before you lose yourself to it completely.”
