Album review: Feeder – Black / Red
Place your bets! Feeder put their shirts on a sprawling double album – and end up winning big…
The band hits the road in March – expect the usual array of bangers.
With The Best Of Feeder set for release on September 29 – a compilation that also features an all-new album in its deluxe versions, Arrow – the band is hitting the road next year, delivering those hits live and direct, right into your face.
A track from Arrow is available to hear right now. Check out Veins, below.
Hard to believe though it is, Feeder have been going for 21 years now, scoring numerous hit singles and albums along the way. Says frontman Grant Nicholas of reaching what is quite the landmark, a full greatest hits release (superseding 2006’s The Singles, I guess):
“We are proud of this album and hopefully it shows why we are still here and who we are as a band. There is no one quite like Feeder, and it has always been about the tunes.”
Pre-order the album here. Doing so gets you priority access to tour tickets, which go on general sale on September 15. The purchase of a ticket also rewards you with a new recording of My Perfect Day, originally on Feeder’s debut album, Polythene. Check out the dates, as follows:

Your correspondent here first saw Feeder back in 1996. Wow. Turn back time with me by listening to 1997's debut LP, Polythene, below.
