Watch the video for EYEDRESS’ New Money, featuring Na-Kel Smith and N8NOFACE

EYEDRESS has just dropped a brand-new music video for New Money with Na-Kel Smith and N8NOFACE.

The track is taken from his recent sixth album Stoner, and now comes accompanied by an Atiba Jefferson-directed video inspired by ‘the punk, skate and rage culture that has shaped’ the photographer/skateboarder.

In a recent interview with Kerrang!, Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden praised EYEDRESS for the way in which he’s inspired the pop-punk heroes on their forthcoming album Motel Du Cap.

“He’s an incredible artist, and he just does what he feels,” Joel explained. “He doesn’t think about it. On any given day, he’s not thinking about how he’s going to sell it – he makes the art first, and then he sorts it out with his team, how they’re going to put it in the world, and when. He makes very thoughtful, authentic decisions and he’s very confident and he’s very okay with things not being in line with what everybody else in the world, the 99 per cent of the music business, is doing. He’s not concerned with anything other than being himself.”

Of course, many of you will have seen N8NOFACE live lately too, as the unique artist supported Limp Bizkit on the band’s UK arena tour. In our review, we said: “Plucked straight from hardcore punk backyard parties in Arizona, his motormouthed tirades about dirty cops and dirtier drugs delivered over juddering synths feel like the nightmarish flip-side to Bizkit’s party jams for a fucked Generation Strange.”
