Album review: Better Lovers – Highly Irresponsible
Heavy supergroup Better Lovers deliver the goods with a no-holds-barred debut that proves beyond doubt the chaotic beauty of being Highly Irresponsible…
Very well said.
Every Time I Die frontman Keith Buckley has been on a most excellent rant on Twitter, telling bigots that "my band doesn't need you".
It all started with the hardcore hero happily reporting that he hadn't spotted a single 'Make America Great Again' hat during the last-ever Warped Tour, with the musician posting: "On a personal note, with over half a million tickets sold to Warped this year, I didn’t see a SINGLE maga hat. and I looked. say what you will about the bands playing, you can’t deny that the kids of summer are gonna be okay."
But that wasn't the end of it, with a fan warning Keith of alienating half of his fanbase.
Keith responded like so:
He then very brilliantly questioned: "At what point in my 25 year involvement with a socially conscious hardcore/punk scene did I give anyone the impression that I would pander to bigots? my band doesn’t need you. nobody does. smash nazis at every turn."
And even Body Count legend Ice-T got in on the action, praising Keith's words:
Before then making comments of his own…
Good dudes.
