Album review: Better Lovers – Highly Irresponsible
Heavy supergroup Better Lovers deliver the goods with a no-holds-barred debut that proves beyond doubt the chaotic beauty of being Highly Irresponsible…
Every Time I Die and 13 other bands have just been announced. Also: there's a skate ramp...
Because Outbreak Fest didn't already have the most stacked line-up that ever stacked, they've gone and announced that Every Time I Die will be their third and final headliner, as well as 13 more killer bands.
ETID will join Turnstile and Knocked Loose in topping the bill. Additionally, the organisers have also added Touché Amoré, Mannequin Pussy, Drug Church, Slow Crush, Movements, Angel Du$t, Soft Kill, Puppy, The Flex, Chastity, Dead Heat, Choir Boy, Witch Fever and this week's cover-stars Scowl.
Not only that, there's going to be a skate ramp, markets, photography exhibitions, record stalls and vegan food at the event, happening June 24-26 at Manchester BEC Arena.
Already on the bill are Basement, Citizen, Youth Of Today, Terror, Modern Life Is War, Higher Power, Loathe, Venom Prison and dozens more. Being the fest's 10th birthday, it's hardly surprising they've gone quite as hard as they have.
"Our aim was always to put something together to really show the diversity within the hardcore punk community," say the organisers. "This is a festival for everyone, a place where people can feel welcomed, allowed to express themselves however they want, meet like minded people and above all have fun. This was our goal from the start and 10 years on we are still living by this."
If you can't wait until Outbreak, Every Time I Die will tour the UK in January 2022. Get your tickets now.
