It's going to be a big old year for silver anniversaries. The year 2000 saw the release of so many albums that defined their era and laid slabs down for what followed after: Deftones' White Pony, Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory, Papa Roach's Infest, At The Drive-In's Relationship Of Command, A Perfect Circle's Mer de Noms, Iron Maiden's glorious return to Brucie-dom with Brave New World...

Getting in on some champagne cork popping action are Disturbed, celebrating the quarter-century birthday for their five million-selling The Sickness debut. On its actual 25th birthday, March 7, they'll be rereleasing the album on a variety of formats, with all-manner of extras.

The vinyl box set comes with the album on LP, plus three CDs featuring demos and rarities, as well as unreleased live recordings captured at the LA Palladium, Chicago Metro around the album's release, and London's much-missed Astoria. On top of that, there's a poster, patch, replica tour laminate, guitar picks, and a book featuring rare shots and interviews with the band. It'll also be available on double CD, coloured vinyl and digitally.

To mark the announcement, the band have released a remixed version of Glass Shatters, their 2002 banger done for legendary WWE beefcake Stone Cold Steve Austin.
