Watch Dayseeker’s cinematic video for Crawl Back To My Coffin
With new album Creature In The Black Night dropping this Friday, Dayseeker are giving fans one final peek at the record…
Dayseeker have announced that they have “mutually decided to part ways” with guitarist Gino Sgambelluri, only a couple of weeks on from the release their new album Creature In The Black Night.
Dayseeker have parted ways with guitarist Gino Sgambelluri.
In a statement on social media, they confirm that it was a mutual decision – although it “wasn’t an easy decision but there’s truly nothing but love and respect between us”.
They continue: “Gino has been such an important part of Dayseeker’s journey and we can’t thank him enough for his passion, his kindness and the endless hours he spent dedicating his life to the project.
“Please continue to show him nothing but love and support as we all move forward into the next chapters of our lives and careers. Rory, Zac & Ramone.”
The band just released their excellent sixth album Creature In The Black Night, which we called “their finest yet”, and said in our 4/5 review that it’s “the record Dayseeker have long threatened to make – a creature that’ll envelop you in its cloak and not let you go. Not that you’ll want it to, anyway.”
Kerrang! sends all our best to Dayseeker and Gino.
