Foo Fighters cancel appearance at this weekend’s Soundside Music Festival
Jack White and Greta Van Fleet have joined this weekend’s Soundside event in place of Foo Fighters, who have cancelled last-minute.
Dave Grohl brought his and Greg Kurstin’s Hanukkah Sessions to life at a tiny show… and the whole thing will hopefully be available for all to hear!
For the past couple of years, Dave Grohl has celebrated the holidays by teaming up with producer Greg Kurstin for their Hanukkah Sessions cover series… and now, in 2022, it looks like we might be getting a full-blown live version.
Earlier in the week, the Foo Fighters frontman brought together a whole host of stars – from Greg to director Judd Apatow, to P!nk and Tenacious D – at Los Angeles’ tiny Largo venue for an awesome covers set in front of 250 lucky attendees, all in the name of raising money for Anti-Defamation League.
As you can see from the setlist below, some absolutely ace tunes were picked, with Variety reporting that ‘it certainly seemed as if the show was being recorded to be released as this year’s Hannukah Sessions video series’. So fingers crossed we get to see and hear it all very soon…
