Album review: Scott Stapp – Higher Power
Troubled Creed frontman Scott Stapp stares down his demons on mostly hard rocking and unusually personal solo album…
Creed frontman Scott Stapp will make his feature film debut as Frank Sinatra in Reagan, due out next year.
A sentence we were definitely not expecting to write today: Creed's Scott Stapp is set to make his feature film debut in upcoming Ronald Reagan biopic Reagan.
The frontman will portray legendary crooner Frank Sinatra in the film, telling Billboard of the somewhat surprising role: "Sinatra in performance mode was an exercise in restraint. He had this steely, stylish swagger and his sheer presence commanded a room.
"I was excited to join the cast and blown away by the on-set attention to detail, style, and overall production."

"We are honoured to have Scott in Reagan," adds Reagan director Sean McNamara. "Scott’s known for big, high-energy performances so it was a thrill to see him shift gears to embody Sinatra’s contained charisma."
The titular film role will be played by Dennis Quaid, while Scott also joins the likes of Mena Suvari, Kevin Dillon and Jon Voight on the cast. Reagan is due for release in 2021, and is currently filming after having a brief shutdown in October due to coronavirus.
