With Slipknot giving us some killer setlist treats at their Download Festival headline set earlier this month, we could be getting even more surprises next year from the band…
In a new interview with Chaoszine, frontman Corey Taylor has revealed that The Nine have been talking about doing “a handful of shows all over the world” for the anniversary of their iconic self-titled debut album, which turns 25 in 2024.
Of course, that’s an almighty bombshell to drop, so the vocalist does add the caveat: “Now, don’t quote me on that! Best way to make God laugh is to announce your plans out loud. But that's what we’re hinting at, it’s what we’re talking about.”
Unsurprisingly, Corey adds that his biggest focus next year will be on his solo stuff, with new album CMF2 dropping on September 15 via Decibel Cooper / BMG, and lots of touring to surely follow.
