Corey Taylor is probably quite a good man to have around should you find yourself suddenly short of entertainment. So it was that on Monday night, after Cherry Bombs – featuring Corey’s wife Alicia – were unable to perform, the Slipknot frontman and Great Big Mouth extended his solo set to fill the banter gap, dressing in KISS make-up and performing a load of covers.
As well as Slipknot tunes Snuff and Wait And Bleed, they busted out Nine Inch Nails’ Something I Can Never Have, John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band’s On The Dark Side, and Dream Police by Cheap Trick.

In other Corey news, yesterday Slipknot announced two South American Knotfest dates with Bring Me The Horizon, Mr. Bungle, Trivium, Vended and more. They’ll hit Santiago, Chile on December 11, and Sao Paolo, Brazil the following week on December 18.
