From Queen to Blondie, these famous album sleeves have been reimagined for an age of social distancing
In these times of self-isolation and quarantine, we're being advised not to get too close to other human beings in the name of social distancing. Governments around the world have stipulated that 2 metres/6 feet should be the minimum distance between us when going for our one walk a day – whether it's for exercise or to the grocery store for essentials.
To make light of this situation (and let's face it, we do need some cheerful relief), design agency Activista Los Angeles have started the 6 Feet Covers project – redesigning iconic album sleeves so that people aren't too close together.

The 6 Feet Covers website describes the reimagined covers as: "A collection of iconic album covers redesigned to raise awareness about the importance of staying at least 6 feet away from each other, to stop the spread of Coronavirus,"
"Social distancing is the new normal and it will be for a while. 6 feet or 1.8 meters is the distance that experts recommend we keep between each other.
"We will rock again soon. Just remember to keep the 6 feet distance. It will save lives."
So far Activista have redesigned such classics as Fleetwood Mac's Rumours, AC/DC's Highway To Hell, NWA's Straight Outta Compton, KISS' Destroyer and The Clash's Combat Rock. Scroll down to see some of our favourites.
