The 50 Best American Metal Bands From the Last Decade
Here are the 50 bands who have defined American metal in the 2010s.
Get your fix of nasty-ass death-grind with a new song by Baltimore's Noisem.
Of the more contemporary death metal and grindcore bands in the scene right now, Noisem stand out hard. The Baltimore, Maryland, trio make the sort of nasty, vicious racket that both burly death metal bros and stick-thin patch-quilted crust punks can get down with. They're a perfect example of how death metal continues to evolve over the years.
The band has just dropped a new track, Downer Hound, off of their upcoming third album Cease To Exist. It's a solid mid-paced rager (though it does pick up in the middle) with some awesome disillusioned lyrics, and reminds you why this band is always on your radar if not firmly cemented in your record collection.

Noisem's Cease To Exist drops Friday, March 15th, via 20 Buck Spin, but it's available for pre-order here.
