Can’t Swim drop “frustrated and angry” new single, Can’t See Straight
Can’t Swim have just unleashed a minute-long, hardcore-esque song that they hope can “shed a light on a terrible yet very common occurrence that happens to too many women”.
“What a journey, can’t wait for everyone to hear it…” Listen to Can’t Swim’s killer new single Worst Ain’t Over Yet.
Following July’s minute-long Can’t See Straight single, Can’t Swim have just unleashed more new music.
Today (October 9) the band drop newbie Worst Ain’t Over Yet, featuring some guest vocals from Microwave’s Nathan Hardy.
Says frontman Christopher LoPorto: “Worst Ain’t Over Yet is a song I’ve had written for over a year now. Every few months I would revisit it and change a few words around and pick it apart.
“We got in the studio with Jon Markson to record the final version. He really opened our eyes on what the song should sound like sonically and highlighted the strengths of the tune in a really cool way. Other than being one of our best friends, Jon really is such a pleasure to work with and seeing his talents in real time on one of our songs is pretty unreal to be a part of.
“I sent it over to Nate from Microwave to get his two cents on the song and we both came up with the idea to have him do some singing on the post-chorus and bridge. Once he laid those vocals down we all sat around the studio listening to it and felt it was finally done. What a journey, can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”
