Bands playing Brixton Academy will now get ready in The Keef Flint Suite
London's iconic O2 Academy Brixton venue has paid tribute to The Prodigy's late frontman Keith Flint by renaming the primary dressing room in his honour.
The Prodigy played at the South London venue many times throughout their career, including three back-to-back headline shows in December 2017.

"Big respect to Brixton Academy London for renaming the main band dressing room ‘The Keef Flint Suite’ in Flinty's honour," read a tweet from The Prodigy's Liam Howlett and Maxim.
The gold plaque sits on door of dressing room and features Keith's infamous horned hairstyle.
Keith passed away in March of this year at the age of 49. Various tributes have been made to his life in the form of murals from street artists, or bands like Papa Roach performing Firestarter or Dave Grohl dedicating Foo Fighters' track Run to Keith at Reading festival.
The Prodigy's manager Nick Halkes – who managed them from the very beginning – described how Keith had an “immense” onstage presence and was an “extraordinary performer”, while also being “witty, charming, pensive and mercurial” away from the settings of a live show.

Download Festival head honcho Andy Copping, meanwhile, told us that Keith “was always respectful; always a bit of a cheeky-chappy; always up for a laugh; he loved what he was doing and above everything just massively respectful. He always had time to say hello when I saw him. He would go, ‘Fucking Download is our favourite festival,’ and he never forgot what it meant them as a band and to him as a person. The festival took The Prodigy and Keith to their hearts and he never lost that – he always remembered that.”
In August, Liam tweeted that he was back in the studio and "brand new Prodigy tunes are gonna roll."
