Bring Me The Horizon celebrate one billion streams in the UK
Congratulations to Bring Me The Horizon, who’ve received a BRIT Billion Award for really racking up their streaming numbers in the UK!
Bring Me The Horizon have covered official Gran Turismo theme Moon Over The Castle for the seventh instalment of the game franchise, out next month on PlayStation 4 and 5.
While we wait for Bring Me The Horizon's next Post Human EP, new music from the band (sort of) has arrived: an explosive cover of the Gran Turismo theme, Moon Over The Castle.
The epic instrumental is taken from the soundtrack to Gran Turismo 7, with the game being released on March 4 for PlayStation 4 and 5. Of course, this isn't the first time Bring Me have dipped their toes in the video game world, having made Ludens for the Death Stranding: Timefall soundtrack. But this is a whole different thing: the band reworking an official theme, rather than creating their own thing from scratch.
Speaking to Kerrang! in 2019 about making Ludens, frontman Oli Sykes explained that, "We’ve never made a song for a game before, so it was a chance to do something that felt a bit more cinematic. We dug through the original Matrix soundtrack and stuff like that – that cyberpunk, nu-metal stuff – and that kind of inspired it. We didn’t have much choice other than to have fun with it, and just make something and see what came out."

Bring Me The Horizon will headline Reading Festival on August 27 and Leeds Festival on August 28.
