Despite seemingly wanting to wind down a little after a whirlwind few years in their POST HUMAN era, Bring Me The Horizon are still looking to add to their touring calendar in 2025.

So far, the Sheffield titans have live dates in Germany (Rock am Ring and Rock im Park) and England (headlining Reading & Leeds) locked in over the summer, and Mat Nicholls has now teased that “hopefully” the band will be going back to America after that.

In a new interview with Rotherham Radio at Maltby Main Football Club’s Muglet Lane (yes, really), the drummer says of Bring Me’s plans: “The idea this year was to have some time off, because we’ve literally, since COVID, been non-stop – put a record out last year, constant shows. We’ve ended up with a couple of German festivals, Reading & Leeds festival, and hopefully we’re going to go to America at the end of the year. And that’s it!”

Speaking to Kerrang! a few months back, that seemed to be the idea for frontman Oli Sykes, too. “I do feel like we need to go away for a bit, because I feel like we’ve been in everyone’s faces for so long, and I think people would appreciate it,” he said, but added he wanted to go “back to America” as well as visiting “some of the places we haven’t seen so much over the past couple of years”.

“I’d also like to get new music out,” Oli continued. “We wrote so much for NeX GEn, there’s so many cool songs that are kicking about, and I think the world would love to hear them. I would love to get out maybe a ‘director’s cut’ version of the record or something. But I’m trying to put less pressure on myself, and not promise anything! After the last record it felt like people were gonna start hunting me down and taking me for ransom (laughs). But I’m sure there’ll be new music and concerts and all that [in 2025].”
