Bring Me The Horizon celebrate one billion streams in the UK
Congratulations to Bring Me The Horizon, who’ve received a BRIT Billion Award for really racking up their streaming numbers in the UK!
Bring Me The Horizon tweeted that tomorrow night's Toronto show is canceled.
Toronto-based fans of Bring Me The Horizon will have to wait to catch them live another time. The British band have just taken to their Twitter to announce that tomorrow night’s show at RBC Echo Beach has been indefinitely postponed.
The band posted the following statement earlier today:
“We are sorry to announce that due to unforeseen venue logistical issues beyond our control the show tomorrow night in Toronto will be rescheduled until further notice. All tickets sold for the May 17th show will be refunded at point of purchase. A new rescheduled show date will be announced soon. Live Nation has done their best to work out a scenario to adequately support the event to the standard expected, but unfortunately that is not possible at this time.”
It's unclear what exactly happened or what “logistical issues” Bring Me The Horizon are talking about, but they have to be serious if the band cancelled a show the night before it was supposed to happen.
This is not the first time Bring Me The Horizon have cancelled tour dates this year -- the band had to cancel the last two dates of their previous North American tour due to vocalist Oli Sykes rupturing his vocal chords. As of now, there is no news on whether or not any of these dates will be rescheduled, but be on the lookout, as BMTH are bound to come back to North America sooner rather than later.
In the meantime, Bring Me The Horizon currently have dates left on their tour with UK trap-metal rapper Scarlxrd. The band will also be appearing on this year's All Points East festival, during which they will be performing a whopping two-hour long set that will include some older tracks.
None of the other dates on BMTH's tour have been cancelled as of this posting, so check out one of the following shows if you need your fix of catchy, heavy bangers:
May:
18 Grand Rapids, MI – 20 Monroe Live
19 Columbus, OH – Sonic Temple
31 Victoria Park, London – All Points East
