Bring Me The Horizon celebrate one billion streams in the UK
Congratulations to Bring Me The Horizon, who’ve received a BRIT Billion Award for really racking up their streaming numbers in the UK!
Frontman Oli Sykes has announced that Bring Me The Horizon's new single won't be arriving just yet.
Given how drastically the world has changed since Bring Me The Horizon first announced they'd be releasing a new single on June 10, Oli Sykes says that Parasite Eve is now being pushed back.
Though the frontman hasn't yet specified a new release date ("I promise you we won't make you wait too long"), Oli says that, right now, the band just "don't feel comfortable releasing and promoting anything that takes the focus off what's important right now".

He adds that he knows fans will understand the decision to postpone, and that Horizon will have even more new material on the way once Parasite Eve is eventually out there in the world.

"hello everyone – so as some of you know we were planning on releasing a new track this week. But with the incredible movement that is taking place currently we don’t feel comfortable releasing & promoting anything that takes the focus off what’s important right now. I KNOW you will all understand because we have the best fans in the world & I promise you we won’t make you wait too long & the good news is more music will be coming soon after P.E too. But for now keep fighting the good fight & stay tuned."
Respect.
