Bands across the rock and metal world are pulling together their resources to help out those affected by The Ghost Inside bus crash.
Leading the donations are Bring Me The Horizon, who have contributed $10,000 towards the GoFundMe account – which was set up to raise money for those affected by the bus crash The Ghost Inside were involved in yesterday morning. Some of these costs will include funeral bills for the drivers who sadly lost their lives, as well as any medical bills.
Architects, Josh Franceschi (You Me At Six), In Hearts Wake, This Wild Life and Impericon have also added contributions to the fund. Read the statement from the GoFundMe page below:
“Members of The Ghost Inside and their crew were injured in a horrific accident on highway 180 in Texas that tragically claimed two lives.
Tragically, The Ghost Inside’s tour bus driver died during the accident and leaves behind a child. We hope to help cover funeral expenses for him and his family.
I initially started this campaign as an effort to raise money for my friend Chris and the rest of the band who were injured on the tour bus. I have known Chris for several years when my friend JT Cavey joined Texas In July and played with him.
Multiple members of the band and crew suffered serious injuries during the ordeal. Two members of the band had to be airlifted which is extremely expensive. Equipment was also lost in addition to expensive medical bills incurred. This is extremely costly for the band.
I will be transferring the funds directly to The Ghost Inside’s management who I have been in contact with directly to use the funds to help cover medical bills, funeral expenses, and loss of equipment and associated fees.
Any amount of money you can contribute to this fund is greatly appreciated. It is extremely difficult for a band to cover expenses from a tragic event such as this one.”
