Bring Me The Horizon celebrate one billion streams in the UK
Congratulations to Bring Me The Horizon, who’ve received a BRIT Billion Award for really racking up their streaming numbers in the UK!
Bring Me The Horizon will perform for Radio 1’s Live Lounge along with the likes of Camila Cabello, Lil Nas X and Shawn Mendes.
Bring Me The Horizon have been announced as performers for Radio 1’s Live Lounge Month in September.
Oli Sykes and co. join the line-up of Camila Cabello, Lil Nas X, Little Simz, Mimi Webb, Rag’n’Bone Man and Shawn Mendes for the returning franchise, which consists of the artists playing their own songs plus surprise covers (in 2019 Horizon tackled when the party's over by Billie Eilish).
"We're so excited that Live Lounge Month is just around the corner – it's felt like waiting for your birthday to come around when you're a kid!" say Rickie, Melvin and Charlie in a joint statement. "With the show having three hosts for the first time we're bringing a fresh take so expect us to go in from the offset, no messing around – it’s gonna be big!

"We’re really looking forward to seeing some new twists from the amazing artists we have lined up – wherever you are, it's all about you, your favourite artists and us three getting you guys as close to them as possible.”
Aled Haydn Jones, Head of Radio 1, adds: "This September we’ll be bringing music fans even closer to their favourite artists, with an entire month dedicated to the creative and intimate live performances that the Live Lounge is renowned for. This year’s Live Lounge Month is extra special, with Rickie, Melvin and Charlie at the helm for the first time, and we know our listeners are going to love it.”
