Brad Pitt Is Co-Producing A Chris Cornell Film
Chris Cornell's widow will join Brad Pitt and Peter Berg in producing a documentary about the singer's life and legacy.
Since his tragic passing in 2017, Chris Cornell's legacy has been revisited and honored in several forms, from statues to biographies to star-studded nights of incredible music.
Now, according to Variety, it appears that Chris Cornell will also be the subject of a major documentary, which will be produced by his widow Vicky, Peter Berg, and famous actor Brad Pitt.
Berg, whose previous films include Lone Survivor, Deepwater Horizon, and Mile 22 with Mark Wahlberg, will direct the documentary. His production company Film 45, which focuses on non-scripted entertainment, will produce the documentary.
How this documentary will frame Chris Cornell's history and his work in Soundgarden and Audioslave remains to be seen. But it's unsurprising that the singer's legacy continues to be honored; after all, he posthumously won the 2019 Grammy for Best Rock Performance, the award for which was accepted by his children Toni and Christopher.
